The area: Software Development SEETA's software developers develop the next-generation educational technologies. In addition to revolutionising education through technology, we use our excellent programming skills to innovate in a number of other areas as well. Our projects include working on advanced Artificial Intelligence algorithms, automatic data extraction techniques and large-scale applications that enrich the user experience. We also work extensively on Android development, I-Phone development and Palm development. We have also collaborated with Sugar Labs ( http://wiki. sugarlabs. org ) and contribute for OLPC projects. The Role We are currently looking for software developers who would like to work part time as interns along with their engineering studies. The role will be to understand and develop the two major projects called ShruthLaikha and Listen & Spell. Both of these projects are developed over the same concepts and run on different platforms. ShruthLaikha is an advanced application to assist users learn English words in a more fun and engaging manner. Listen and Spell is a more general and simplified version of this application that runs on the OLPC XO laptops. Both these applications are designed entirely in Python Programming language. E./B. tech in computer science or a related technical field. Experience in Software Development and algorithms. Good implementation skills (C, Python, PyGtk). Knowledge of UNIX/Linux or Windows environments and APIs. Familiarity with OOPS and/or C++ a plus. 50 Authors of Change to make a difference in 30 Social Organizations this summer
The National Social Entrepreneurship Forum (NSEF) will select 50 Author of Change for their summer program and will places them in premier social entrepreneurship organizations such as Naandi Foundation, Industree Crafts, Saath, Miracle Couriers, Video Volunteers, Microgram, Onergy, One Degree Solar, Ennovent, Samhita Social Ventures, Waste Wise Trust etc. across India. These young leaders will be working on highly entrepreneurial and challenging roles which vary from Strategy, Innovation, Marketing, Social Media, supply Chain Management, HR, Outreach, Business Development, B plan Development, Website Design, Communications, Finance, Product Development etc.

About NSEF Authors of Change
NSEF Authors of change is a one of its kind, high impact, solutions delivery 2 month internship program. Every year around 50 students spend their summer in some of the best social enterprises of India. These students are selected on the basis of their demonstrated passion and commitment towards social change, leadership experience and their aspiration to become change agents for their society. It’s a network of young leaders and are provided with access to mentors and experts from the sector. During internship these authors learn from each other through events like blogging, interacting with people passionate about social entrepreneurship. At the end of the internship these students participate in a BootCamp where they network with experts from the sector. The internship culminates when these students present about their work in their respective institutions. About National Social Entrepreneurship Forum
National Social Entrepreneurship Forum is a non- profit organization with a mission of promoting social entrepreneurship in youth across India.
