This exciting competition challenges students to apply their critical thinking, communication, and technology skills to a real-world problem. Teams research, develop, and test their solution before presenting it to a global audience. Put your ideas and skills to the test in one of the following events:
ThinkQuest Projects
Teams present their solution by creating a project in ThinkQuest Projects, an online learning environment. Check the website for details on the projects available.
Age Divisions: 19 and under, 16 and under, 12 and under.
Digital Media
Teams present their solution by creating a blog/journal, website, animation, public service announcement, photo essay, video, or some combination of these items.
Age Divisions: 19 and under, 16 and under, 12 and under.
Application Development
Teams develop a web-based application or game that solves a problem.
Age Divisions: 22 and under, 19 and under, 16 and under.
Teams can choose any problem to solve and can leverage existing schoolwork across a broad range of curricula, including Writing, Social Studies, Civics, History, Science, Mathematics, Art, and Technology/ICT. All entries must be submitted in English.
Prizes
Prizes include laptop computers, a trip to ThinkQuest Live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and cash grants for the school or organization. Teams that submit a completed entry will also be eligible to receive a Certificate of Participation.
